Join Cló and Co printmakers Maggie Marley and Laura Buchanan for a tote bag and t-shirt workshop where you will be introduced to the process of block printing!

This one and a half hour workshop is designed to give you an insight into the world of textile block printing. To begin you will gain an understanding of the block printing process through discussion and demonstrations by our resident printmakers. This is followed by hands on printing, working with handmade foam blocks and authentic Indian wood blocks inspired by themes of nature and wildlife. Our team will help you print a multi-coloured tote bag, which will be provided on the day.

*Please note, bring your own t-shirt to upcycle. It doesn't not have to be new. A plain light coloured t-shirt is best.

Experience level

This workshop is designed for kids with little or no experience of printmaking.

What’s included in this session?

Course price includes basic materials such as inks and a tote bag.
Bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit messy.
